Action Canada 2023-2024: Halifax Vlog

Action Canada 2023-2024: Halifax Vlog

Last month, Action Canada’s 2023-24 Fellows visited the city of Halifax, Nova Scotia for their first study tour.

They took part in fascinating discussions with Nova Scotian leaders such as the Honorable Stephen McNeil, former Premier of Nova Scotia; Mike Savage, Mayor of Halifax Regional Municipality; RCMP Sergeant and author Craig Marshall Smith; and the Honourable Paul Prosper, former Chief of the Paqtnkek Mi’kmaq Nation and AFN Regional Chief for Newfoundland and Nova Scotia.

Fellows also had the opportunity to visit renowned historical sites such as Africville and Grand Pré and made new connections with their cohort and the Action Canada alumni network.

Discover their documented experience in this vlog, narrated by André Moreau, 2023-24 Fellow!
